Yes. A minimum of $300 must be spent when using the Roseville Private Room. Anything more than 3 hours requires a $550 minimum purchase. Additional minimum purchase requirements may be present, depending on the day and time of the event. For example, a Roseville Private Room reservation between 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Monday might require a minimum purchase of $500, whereas a reservation between 6-8 PM on a Friday evening might require a minimum purchase of $2,000. The subtotal of all food and beverage purchases made during the two hour time slot on the day of the event will apply towards the minimum, which is before taxes and an 18% service charge. Gift card purchases do not apply, and Zocalo Private Room reservations are not eligible for happy hour pricing. In the event that food and beverage purchases do not meet the minimum purchase requirement, a “room rental fee” will be added to the final bill in the form of the difference, which, again, is before taxes and an 18% service charge.
Included in your reservation is a limited family style menu of your choosing. There are several different menus to choose from and their prices range from $26 to $48 per person, depending on the menu’s contents and the time of day of your event. Some menus feature appetizers and entrees, while others consist of several starters, entrees, and deserts. All include our famous cilantro lime rice and black beans. Family style menus are designed with large parties in mind and showcase the best Zocalo has to offer. Your guests will then load up their plates just like they would if they were eating at your own home. It is a full-service dining experience. Don’t worry, your server will make sure everyone leaves full.
Private room hospitality is full-service, and your server will attend to your guest’s needs, making sure they get exactly what they want from our full bar while eating. Included in every reservation is the opportunity to host a private room satellite Bar. Working with our Banquet Manager, you will pre-select alcoholic beverages – pitchers of Margarita de la Casa or Blackberry Margarita, for example – and when your guests arrive, they can stop by your private bar located conveniently by the Roseville Private Room, and your server will offer them a drink of their choosing. This will allow your guests to mingle and chat as they arrive in a cocktail style setting. Guests love the experience. It has lead to many great memories.
In the event that your food and beverage purchases do not meet the minimum purchase requirement, a “room rental fee” will be added to the final bill in the form of the difference. Yes, and you can make reservations of up to fourteen people by calling 916.788.0303 and speaking with a member of our host team. There are no minimum purchase requirements with such reservations and they are available any day of the week. You are not, however, guaranteed seating in the private room.
